“Kөk bөru” is one of the most ancient sports games of the Kyrgyz people. At present, “Kөk bөru” or “goat-wrestling” has become one of the most massive and spectacular national outdoor games. The article explores the origins and origins, formation and religious and philosophical meaning of the game. In addition, parallels are given of the game “Kөk bөru”, which has become part of the traditional culture of the Kyrgyz, with other Turkic-speaking peoples. In the modern era of globalization and technological progress, national sports are the environment that preserves the ethnic identity of the population, one of the most popular of which is the traditional game "blue wolf".
